Asset Management
For devices that your company owns, the asset fields connect Device Inventory Manager to your asset register.
| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Asset | Yes if the device is registered as a company asset. |
| Asset Code | The code in your asset register. |
| Asset Status | Not Started, In Progress, Completed: where the device is in your registration process. Useful when registration is done by another department, for example finance. |
| Asset Date | Date of registration. |
| Sale Price | Price at which the device was sold when it left the fleet. |
Fill them in on the device page (see Editing Device Fields). Editing them requires the Edit Asset permission, so you can give it to the finance team without letting them change anything else.
In Rentals / Assets › General, filter by Asset and Asset Code to find registered devices, or by Status to find those still to complete.
The Assets export lists all devices registered as assets with code, date, price and lifecycle status (see Export).
